Commercial passenger fatalities rise

Statistics for the last 7 years

Note that in the year 2000, for the first time in over 20 years, the number of commercial passenger fatalities was higher than the total number of fatalities in the agricultural, flying training and private aviation sectors.

In the year 2001, however, the figures became more normal.
